Responsibilities
Supervise and manage the preparation and review of income tax returns for individuals, corporations, partnerships, estates, and trusts.
Develop tax strategies, plans, and projections tailored to client needs.
Conduct research on various tax scenarios and issues.
Address and respond to inquiries and notices from tax authorities.
Stay informed on the latest tax developments and best practices.
Engage directly with clients regarding tax matters, identifying potential risks and opportunities related to their tax positions and changes in legislation.
Foster client relationships and participate in marketing, networking, and business development initiatives.
Identify and pursue opportunities with both new and existing clients.
Qualifications
At least 8 years of experience in tax accounting.
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a graduate degree in Accounting.
California CPA certification is mandatory.
A minimum of 5 years of experience with a national or regional CPA firm.
A book of business is preferred but not essential.
