Responsibilities
- Oversee and evaluate financial statements generated by the Fund Administrator.
- Assist in the review and formulation of capital calls and distributions.
- Analyze and condense financial data for reporting purposes.
- Engage in financial budgeting and forecasting activities.
- Review and validate employee expense submissions.
- Support the preparation of wire transfer transactions.
- Reconcile various financial accounts as needed.
- Contribute to the quarter-end and year-end closing processes.
- Assist with fund accounting responsibilities, including transaction assessments, capital account management, and investor communications.
- Support the management company’s accounting tasks, such as general ledger upkeep, accruals, and internal financial reporting.
- Collaborate with the CFO to enhance financial processes and procedures.
- Participate in special projects as required.
Qualifications
- A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in accounting.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance is required.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel are essential.
- Exceptional attention to detail with a demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Strong analytical capabilities and a solid understanding of accounting principles.
- Experience in Private Equity or Fund Accounting is advantageous.
- CPA certification is preferred.
