Associate Vice President, SEC Reporting

Responsibilities

• Prepare and file SEC documents, including 10-Q/10-K, earnings presentations, 8-Ks, and proxy statements, utilizing the Workiva reporting tool.
• Collaborate with various teams to coordinate the collection of deliverables essential for accurate reporting.
• Draft financial statement disclosures in compliance with U.S. GAAP and ensure adherence to regulatory requirements.
• Oversee annual audits and quarterly reviews, working directly with external audit firms to ensure timely and accurate reporting.
• Conduct disclosure research and consult with management and auditors to address new requirements and non-routine transactions.
• Enhance internal processes through automation and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Lead and mentor staff, fostering a culture of professional development and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Must-Have:
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting.
• CPA certification.
• 10+ years of relevant experience in public accounting or industry roles.
• Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP and SEC reporting requirements.
• Experience with Workiva and financial services industry knowledge.
• Nice-to-Have:
• Familiarity with Power BI or other business intelligence tools.
• Experience in managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Proven ability to communicate effectively and present complex information clearly.
