Director of Tax

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement tax strategies that optimize the company's tax position while ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations.
• Oversee the preparation and review of federal, state, and international tax returns, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Lead tax planning initiatives, including acquisition integration, revenue recognition, and transfer pricing strategies.
• Manage relationships with external tax advisors and auditors, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
• Monitor changes in tax legislation and assess their impact on the organization, providing strategic recommendations to senior management.
• Drive continuous improvement in tax processes and systems, leveraging technology and best practices.
• Mentor and develop tax team members, fostering a culture of learning and professional development.

Qualifications

• Must-Have:
• Master's degree in Taxation, Accounting, or a related field.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in tax management, with a strong focus on corporate tax compliance and planning.
• Proven expertise in ASC-740, acquisition integration, and revenue recognition.
• Experience with ERPs such as SAP or NetSuite.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to communicate complex tax issues clearly.
• Nice-to-Have:
• Professional certification (CPA or equivalent) preferred.
• Experience in international tax matters and cross-border transactions.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
