Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate general ledger and sub-ledger accounts for assigned properties, ensuring timely and precise financial reporting.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with GAAP, driving transparency and accountability.
• Conduct account reconciliations and promptly resolve discrepancies to uphold financial integrity.
• Process accounts payable and receivable transactions with a focus on proper coding and approval workflows.
• Track and manage property budgets, forecasts, and variance analyses to support strategic decision-making.
• Utilize Yardi for tenant billing and annual CAM reconciliations, enhancing operational efficiency.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to monitor leasing activity and occupancy reports, leveraging Yardi for data accuracy.
• Create detailed financial models and reports using Excel to facilitate management review and insights.

Qualifications

• Must-Have:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of property accounting experience, preferably in an industrial or warehouse setting.
• Proficiency in Yardi 7S/8 Property Management Software.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables and data analysis.
• Strong understanding of GAAP principles and accounting best practices.
• Excellent attention to detail with strong organizational skills and the ability to meet deadlines.
• Effective communication skills with a problem-solving mindset.
• Nice-to-Have:
• Experience coordinating workflows and task tracking through project management tools like Asana.
