Responsibilities

• Lead the forecasting and analysis of net investment income (NII) and book yield across various portfolios, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.
• Enhance driver-based forecasting models by integrating key economic drivers and market dynamics to improve accuracy and insights.
• Support the investment accounting close process by translating results into actionable insights and identifying drivers of volatility.
• Collaborate with front-office and back-office teams to investigate earnings volatility and deliver clear, concise explanations to senior leadership.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives in investment accounting processes, focusing on automation and scalability for enhanced reporting accuracy.
• Develop and refine reporting packages that provide timely, decision-useful insights to senior management and board members.
• Leverage advanced analytics tools and partner with IT to establish sustainable data pipelines and best practices in data governance.

Qualifications

• Must-Have:
• 10+ years of relevant experience in investment banking, asset management, or corporate strategy with a focus on financial forecasting and analysis.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to connect accounting outcomes to economic drivers.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a proven ability to convey complex ideas clearly.
• Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint, with a strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
• Nice-to-Have:
• Experience with advanced analytics tools and automation in investment accounting.
• Familiarity with GAAP/STAT/BSTAT/SA GAAP accounting standards.
