Responsibilities

• Manage and update security master records for a diverse range of instruments including bank loans, bonds, structured products, and private credit throughout their lifecycle.
• Conduct daily data validation routines to verify completeness and accuracy of information sourced from internal systems and external vendors.
• Investigate and resolve discrepancies or exceptions in reference data, collaborating with counterparties and escalating operational risks when necessary.
• Support downstream teams such as Trading, Accounting, Risk, and Compliance by addressing data inquiries and rectifying data breaks promptly.
• Assist in testing and refining data management tools and applications in partnership with technology and operations groups to uphold data quality standards.
• Contribute to process improvement initiatives by leveraging automation techniques and AI tools to streamline workflows and reduce manual effort.
• Execute assigned projects focused on operational delivery with exposure to broader data modernization efforts across the firm.

Qualifications

• Must-Have:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related discipline.
  • 1 to 3 years of experience in security master setup, reference data management, investment operations, or middle office roles within asset management, hedge funds, fund administration, custodians, or financial data providers.
  • Solid understanding of fixed income products, including loans, bonds, structured credit, and private credit instruments.
  • Proficiency in SQL and Excel for data extraction, validation, and reporting tasks.
  • Exceptional attention to detail with a strong commitment to data accuracy and integrity.
  • Ability to communicate complex data issues clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational skills to manage multiple priorities in a high-volume operational setting.
  • Collaborative mindset with experience working across investment, technology, and operations teams.
