Responsibilities

Oversee daily accounting operations to guarantee compliance with U.S. GAAP and internal control standards.
Drive the monthly close process, including preparation and review of financial statements, reconciliations, and detailed variance analyses.
Manage the expense reimbursement workflow, ensuring adherence to corporate travel and expense policies and clear communication with stakeholders.
Lead special projects and system implementations, such as automation tools and ERP enhancements, to improve process efficiency without compromising accuracy.
Serve as the primary liaison for internal and external auditors during financial audits and compliance reviews.
Provide mentorship and direction to accounting staff, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
Collaborate cross-functionally to support budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis initiatives aligned with strategic objectives.

Qualifications

Must-Have:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance with at least 12 years of progressive accounting experience.
- Minimum of five years managing accounting teams in a complex environment.
- Deep expertise in U.S. GAAP, month-end close procedures, financial reporting, and account reconciliations.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with ERP systems, preferably Microsoft Dynamics Great Plains.
- Strong analytical skills with meticulous attention to detail and the ability to prioritize in a demanding setting.
Nice-to-Have:
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation and/or MBA from an accredited institution.
- Familiarity with data automation tools such as Alteryx.
- Experience in healthcare finance or digital health sectors.
