Responsibilities

• Craft and execute tailored sales strategies that respond to evolving market dynamics and customer requirements, targeting both existing accounts and new business prospects.
• Deliver comprehensive product knowledge presentations and technical support to customers, facilitating design wins and ensuring alignment with engineering specifications.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams—including design engineers, technical services, and manufacturing—to address customer needs promptly and effectively.
• Maintain detailed sales forecasts, prepare customer communications, and manage quoting processes in accordance with company pricing policies and purchase intent.
• Generate and submit timely reports on sales activities, customer interactions, and market opportunities to inform management decisions and strategic planning.
• Foster and sustain relationships with global counterparts to enhance international sales collaboration and expand the company’s footprint worldwide.
• Provide training and product education to internal teams, distributors, and sales representatives to support market penetration and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Must-Have:
  • Three to five years of outside sales experience, preferably in board-level electronic components such as capacitors, inductors, or RF filters.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook, with demonstrated ability to use Excel for data analysis and reporting.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, capable of engaging professionally with customers and internal teams.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to support customer visits and travel commitments of 10-20%.
  • Experience working within international business contexts, with an understanding of cross-cultural communication and global sales coordination.
• Nice-to-Have:
  • Technical knowledge of electronic engineering principles related to OEM products.
  • Familiarity with sales techniques and project management in a manufacturing or technology setting.
  • Language skills in Japanese or Spanish to facilitate communication with global partners and customers.
  • Previous supervisory or team leadership experience, including hiring, training, and personnel management.
