Responsibilities

• Manage customer orders from receipt through confirmation, ensuring accuracy and timely processing.
• Serve as the main point of contact for customers regarding order status, delivery schedules, and issue resolution.
• Collaborate closely with sales teams to promptly enter and track new product orders in the system.
• Support inventory control by analyzing customer forecasts and coordinating with planning to maintain on-time deliveries.
• Oversee Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI) or Customer Managed Inventory (CMI) accounts by processing daily hub transactions and maintaining inventory levels within agreed parameters.
• Coordinate with planning and warehouse departments to expedite orders and prevent delivery delays, keeping customers informed of critical updates.
• Facilitate resolution of account-related issues by liaising among customers, sales, accounting, and logistics teams, including processing debit/credit memos and managing return merchandise authorizations (RMAs).

Qualifications

• Must-Have:
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in customer service or related roles, or 2+ years in purchasing and material planning.
  • Familiarity with material planning concepts and inventory management, including supplier-owned inventory processes.
  • Proficiency with order management systems and Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Word.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with a professional demeanor in customer interactions.
  • Ability to work independently under general supervision.
• Nice-to-Have:
  • Experience with MRP systems such as Oasis or similar platforms.
  • Spanish language skills to support bilingual communication.
