Responsibilities

• Lead comprehensive financial oversight of portfolio companies, ensuring timely delivery of cash flow forecasts, financial statements, board materials, and audit compliance aligned with CFO office standards.
• Develop and maintain advanced budgeting, forecasting, and working capital management frameworks, including optimizing payment terms and inventory controls.
• Implement and refine core operational processes such as Procure-to-Pay, Order-to-Cash, and Sales & Operations Planning to drive efficiency and consistency across portfolio businesses.
• Partner with portfolio company leadership to embed financial and operational KPIs into daily management routines, enabling proactive variance analysis and decision-making.
• Collaborate closely with internal operating partners and external consultants to identify and execute transformative initiatives that enhance financial performance and operational resilience.
• Oversee corporate finance strategies including balance sheet optimization, refinancing opportunities, and asset monetization in coordination with M&A teams.
• Manage relationships with lenders, service providers, and consultants to ensure compliance, risk mitigation, and rapid response to evolving business needs.

Qualifications

• Must-Have:
  • Extensive experience in senior finance and operations roles within private equity-backed companies or directly supporting PE portfolio firms.
  • Proven expertise in financial planning and analysis, including 13-week cash flow modeling, working capital optimization, and KPI-driven reporting.
  • Strong track record of collaborating with CFOs and executive teams to improve financial controls, operational processes, and value creation initiatives.
  • Deep understanding of financial reporting, audit processes, and compliance requirements relevant to portfolio companies.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage complex projects involving systems optimization and process redesign.
• Nice-to-Have:
  • Experience with corporate finance transactions such as refinancing, dividend recaps, or asset divestitures.
  • Familiarity with technology platforms supporting finance and operations functions, including ERP systems and data analytics tools.
  • Background in driving innovation initiatives, including operationalizing emerging technologies like AI within financial and operational contexts.
