Responsibilities

• Lead and guide accounting personnel responsible for corporate functions such as accounts payable, general ledger entries, and tax-related tasks.
• Manage the preparation and review of monthly and annual financial statements, ensuring deadlines and compliance standards are met.
• Analyze financial results and present actionable insights to senior leadership to inform strategic decisions.
• Support the development and monitoring of budgets and forecasts aligned with organizational goals.
• Coordinate annual audit and tax engagements, facilitating smooth communication with external auditors and tax professionals.
• Evaluate and enhance accounting procedures and internal controls to boost accuracy and operational efficiency.
• Contribute to special financial projects, including return on investment analyses and other business-related financial assessments.

Qualifications

• Must-Have:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance combined with at least four years of progressive corporate accounting experience.
  • Proven experience with month-end close processes, general ledger management, and financial statement preparation.
  • Demonstrated supervisory or leadership experience within an accounting team.
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP and corporate accounting standards.
  • Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with accounting software systems.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact with team members and senior management.
• Nice-to-Have:
  • Background in public accounting or CPA credentials.
