Responsibilities

• Lead the preparation and thorough review of tax returns across individuals, partnerships, S corporations, C corporations, trusts, and estates.
• Provide tailored tax planning and advisory services that address the unique needs of affluent clients and their business structures.
• Coordinate multiple client engagements from initial strategy through final delivery, ensuring compliance and accuracy throughout.
• Act as the primary client contact, fostering enduring professional relationships built on trust and expertise.
• Offer technical guidance and mentorship to senior associates and junior staff to elevate team performance.
• Investigate complex tax issues and develop actionable solutions that enhance client outcomes and firm efficiency.
• Collaborate closely with the managing partner and AI engineers to refine tax processes and develop innovative, technology-driven tools.

Qualifications

• Must-Have:
  • CPA license obtained or actively pursuing certification.
  • Six or more years of public accounting experience with a focus on tax compliance and strategic planning.
  • Demonstrated expertise serving high-net-worth individuals, partnerships, S corporations, and privately held businesses.
  • Proven ability to manage client relationships end-to-end within a small or regional public accounting firm.
  • Strong technical skills in tax return review and resolving complex tax matters.
  • Excellent communication skills with experience leading teams and mentoring staff.
  • Interest in leveraging technology to enhance tax practice efficiency and accuracy.
