Description:
Responsibilities:
– Oversee and manage the daily operations of the accounting department.
– Supervise and mentor a team of accountants and ensure their work is accurate and timely.
– Develop and implement financial policies, procedures, and controls to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
– Prepare and analyze financial statements, reports, and budgets to provide accurate and timely financial information to management.
– Collaborate with other departments to streamline processes and improve overall financial performance.
– Manage the month-end and year-end closing processes, including the preparation of journal entries and reconciliations.
– Monitor cash flow and manage the company's financial resources effectively.
– Conduct regular audits to identify and resolve any discrepancies or issues.
– Stay updated on industry trends and changes in accounting regulations to ensure compliance and best practices.
– Provide financial analysis and recommendations to support strategic decision-making.
Qualifications:
– Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance.
– CPA certification is strongly preferred.
– Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting or finance, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
– Extensive knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and regulations.
– Proficiency in financial software and advanced Excel skills.
– Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
– Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
– Attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.
– Strong leadership and team management skills.
