This Accounting Manager would report directly to the owner and oversee all accounting with special attention to accounts receivable. The company operates in a specialized industry and has contracts with major international organizations.

Description:
**Responsibilities**

  • Manage and reconcile the General Ledger utilizing QuickBooks to ensure accurate recording of all financial transactions.
  • Supervise the billing process through CLIO and oversee accounts receivable, including collecting outstanding invoices.
  • Oversee banking relationships, monitor cash flow, and implement expense control measures to enhance financial performance.
  • Participate in forensic accounting tasks related to insurance claims by providing detailed financial analysis for claims investigations and settlements.
  • Collaborate with company leadership to support financial health and contribute to business development efforts.
  • Engage with clients, especially on complex claims, to ensure accurate billing and payment processing.

**Qualifications**

  • Minimum of 3 years of senior accounting experience, preferably in a services-based business.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.
  • Proficient in QuickBooks and accounting principles.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Experience with CLIO or similar billing systems is a plus.
  • Knowledge of forensic accounting and insurance claims is desirable.
