Our real estate investment client in West LA is looking for a strong Accounting Manager. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual with proven accounting, organizational, administrative and communication skills, and an interest in the private equity industry. The individual selected for this position will be part of the accounting team that provides accounting and financial support to the firms activities in managing over $3 billion in private equity limited partnerships.

Responsibilities:

  • Reviewing financial statements prepared by Fund Administrator
  • Assist with the review and preparation of capital calls and distributions
  • Analyzing and summarizing financial information
  • Financial budgeting and forecasting
  • Review of employee expense reports
  • Assisting with the preparation of wire transfers
  • Reconciling various accounts
  • Supporting quarter end and year end close process
  • Working with CFO to improve financial procedures
  • Other special projects as needed

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant accounting experience Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
  • Advanced Proficiency with Microsoft Excel
  • Attention to detail and possess a proven ability to prioritize and manage multiple assignments and meet deadlines
  • Excellent analytical skills with a thorough knowledge of accounting principles
  • Relevant Private Equity experience is a plus
  • CPA certification preferred
