Single family office for a successful and very well respected entertainment personality. Position will oversee accounting for media production, personal assets, and real estate investments. Reporting into the CFO, the successful candidate will have the aptitude to grow while also being very hands-on managing two staff.

The company offers a positive, friendly and healthy office culture.  Ideal candidate will have proven ability to maintain multiple entities in multiple states, inter-company, intracompany and process multi-state payroll.  Candidates should possess working knowledge of federal and state income taxes all aspects of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP). 


  • Responsible for all facets of accounting including general accounting, AP, AR, Payroll, fixed assets, construction and analysis for multiple entities. 
  • Reconcile investments, intracompany and inter-company transaction on a monthly basis.
  • Prepare monthly financial reports, including narrative, statement of cash flow for multiple entities on a consolidated basis with eliminating entries.
  • Demonstrate ability to prioritize and manage multiple assignments and projects to meet deadlines with efficiency and accuracy.
  • Assist with multi-state, S-Corp, non-profit, individual tax returns and tax planning.
  • Evaluate, strengthen and periodically review the internal control environment to ensure appropriate processes and procedures are in place to safeguard the integrity and security of all critical functions including, but not limited to, financial management, investments and cash.
  • Assist in the evaluation and review of insurance providers and policies to assure appropriate types and levels of coverage are in place given the evolving needs of principal.
  • Responsible for 401k annual audits.
  • Responsible for multi-state and multi-entity payroll.
  • Responsible for on-boarding new hires.
  • Assist with tax reporting, tax estimates and compliance for non-profit and other legal entities as needed.


  • At least seven years of relevant experience and a bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.  Prefer candidates with certified public accountant (CPA). 
  • Demonstrate discretion and maintain the highest level of confidentiality with special attention to sensitive information.
  • Possess working knowledge of federal and state income taxes all aspects of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP). 
  • High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation.
  • Exposure to accounting for real estate, entertainment industry and non-profit.
  • Excellent analytical and quantitative skills.
  • Must be well organized, a self-starter, strong attention to detail and strong work ethics.
  • Excellent knowledge of QuickBooks Enterprise and Excel.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to interact with employees and vendors in a professional manner.
  • Ability to work independently and with a team in a fast-paced and high volume environment with emphasis on accuracy and timeliness.
