As an Associate Asset Manager, you would be responsible for overseeing commercial real estate and Non-Performing Loan (NPL) portfolios, working closely with senior leadership to optimize assets and drive operational goals. Description:
**Responsibilities:**

  • Utilize financial, market, and industry data to identify opportunities and risks within the portfolio proactively.
  • Develop annual budgets and quarterly forecasts to anticipate performance across various operating platforms.
  • Assist in developing business plans to accomplish key operational goals and objectives.
  • Coordinate pre- and post-acquisition activities, software, and asset integration.
  • Collaborate with listing brokers and attorneys for leasing, purchasing, and selling assets, fostering strong relationships within the brokerage/investment community.
  • Provide analysis and oversight on capital improvement projects, unit renovations, marketing initiatives, and expense management.
  • Ensure compliance with all agreements.
  • Oversee and manage all company generated fees for timely distribution and accuracy.
  • Manage accounting and property management teams, leasing brokers, and other third-party engagements.
  • Review architectural plans, conduct construction bid analysis, and manage construction timelines, including permitting processes.
  • Execute business plans for multiple assets and NPL’s concurrently.
  • Prepare, analyze, and review monthly financial statements, monitor budget versus actual expenses, and oversee asset financial performance.
  • Handle due diligence and escrow activities for asset acquisitions and dispositions.
  • Report to lenders and investors on a monthly and quarterly basis.
  • Collaborate with architects, construction managers, building engineers, etc., maintaining good working relations with third-party vendors.
  • Ensure business plan objectives are met and develop new business plans for controlled assets.
  • Measure actual occupancy versus market vacancy quarterly per asset and provide recommendations as necessary.
  • Measure actual lease rates versus market rates quarterly per asset and provide recommendations as necessary.
  • Manage new and lease renewals negotiations and documentation.
  • Provide quarterly reporting to investors.

**Qualifications:**

  • Ability to meet all reporting deadlines.
  • 5+ years of commercial real estate experience, specializing in investment, finance, underwriting, leasing, asset and property management, primarily in office, industrial, and multifamily sectors.
  • 3+ years of experience managing and developing high-performing teams and delivering executive-level presentations.
  • Highly proficient in Argus Financial Software.
  • Highly proficient with Excel, PowerPoint, and the entire Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to deliver top-tier presentations to executive committees.
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Real Estate, or related field; MBA a plus.
  • Experience in underwriting, proforma development, due diligence, and overseeing construction management.
  • Willingness to travel as required.
  • Must be a self-starter, able to work independently, and exhibit initiative in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must be able to work in office during business hours.
