Description:
**Responsibilities**

  • Support in the management of a streamlined month-end closing process
  • Examine journal entries and reconciliations conducted by the accounting team
  • Supervise the international division's interaction with NetSuite and ensure adherence to US GAAP
  • Oversee relationships with external auditors to aid in the completion of audit procedures promptly and effectively
  • Establish, execute, supervise, and monitor crucial accounting and reporting policies, procedures, and internal controls
  • Stay up-to-date on organizational policies, procedures, and current accounting standards
  • Offer guidance and support to other departments on accounting policies, procedures, and efficient financial resource management
  • Supervise and provide guidance to the global accounting team
  • Manage Company insurance agreements
  • Supervise the accounting for Company investments

**Qualifications**

  • Desirable to have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • Past or current experience leading Accounting processes for a multinational corporation
  • Active CPA certification preferred, with experience working at a global accounting firm
  • At least 10 years of progressive experience – a mix of public and private sector experience is preferred
  • Over 4 years of experience managing and developing staff, including overseeing all aspects of month-end GL closure and financial statement preparation
  • Experience in preparing for and managing audits
  • Experience working in accordance with US GAAP
  • Experience in Asset Purchase and Acquisitions
  • Ability to effectively engage in and lead projects involving cross-functional teams
  • Ability to troubleshoot and establish successful client relationships
  • Experience in developing and implementing internal control policies, guidelines, and procedures for various activities
  • Strong interpersonal and communication abilities
  • Capability to identify complex issues, assess related information, develop and evaluate options, and implement solutions
  • Ability to weigh the relative costs and benefits of potential actions to select the most suitable one
  • Proficiency in accounting software, business intelligence and data analysis software, financial analysis software, and ERP applications like NetSuite, Excel, Concur, ADP, or similar software
  • Prior experience at a company with an entrepreneurial mindset
  • Proficiency in Google Workspace, Confluence, Jira is a plus
