Assistant Controller role for a well established, private real estate firm launching their first REIT. The position will play a key role in overseeing the setup and ongoing reporting for the fund and also take on related finance responsibilities. Permanently hybrid (3/2) with a great team and excellent leadership.

• Responsible for overseeing and reviewing fund accounting deliverables from external administrator including valuations and financial statements associated with fund reporting close periods
• Maintain and oversee budgets for funds
• Liaise with internal teams such Client Service, Compliance, Legal and the Deal Team
• Assist with internal quarterly reporting of Funds' asset and revenue figures
• Assist with resolution of all investor queries
• 4+ years experience working with open / closed end real estate fund, REIT, property, investment accounting, 9+years overall experience
• Experience with open-end funds and real estate preferred
• Experience with Fair Value and Historical cost, US GAAP and Investment Company accounting
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) preferred
