Description:
**Responsibilities**

  • Lead all aspects of accounting and finance, ensuring top-notch financial management and compliance.
  • Implement and monitor strong financial controls for all transactions.
  • Review monthly financial statements, balance sheet reconciliations, and financial forecasts.
  • Prepare financial reports and analysis, including timekeeping and expense tracking.
  • Ensure accurate processing of deposits, payables, payroll, and other financial transactions.
  • Manage tax payments and filings at various levels to ensure compliance.
  • Supervise and develop accounting and clerical staff, including training and performance assessments.
  • Improve finance-related procedures to enhance efficiency and automate manual processes.
  • Handle all banking activities, including managing the firm's line of credit and preparing lender reports.
  • Manage escrow accounts with regular reconciliations, payments, and deposits.
  • Oversee biweekly payroll, including deductions for employee benefits.
  • Manage various insurance policies, ensuring annual assessments and renewals.
  • Prepare financial reports for tax return preparation and third-party reporting.

**Qualifications**

  • Minimum of five years of experience in management-level accounting.
  • Strong understanding of financial controls and process improvements.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or Finance (BS, BA, or BBA) or an MBA with a focus in Accounting.
  • CPA strongly preferred.
