Description:
**Responsibilities**

  • Collaborate with the President US and VP Operations to provide strong leadership to the US business
  • Participate in weekly US leadership meetings
  • Contribute to strategic resource allocation and investment decisions
  • Manage special projects and strategic initiatives
  • Provide financial control, support, and insight to the US business
  • Oversee Month-end / Year-end close processes
  • Ensure US tax compliance through external advisers
  • Manage cashflow, including reconciliation and forecasting
  • Review monthly sales analysis and revenue recognition with commentary
  • Perform Monthly balance sheet reconciliations and resolve variances
  • Review and approve payroll and supplier payment funds
  • Coordinate monthly financial reporting in line with group timetable
  • Produce Monthly management accounts, variance analysis, and commentary
  • Review Monthly customer / job profitability and provide commentary
  • Create monthly sales, P&L, and cashflow forecasts
  • Conduct balance sheet reviews with Group Finance
  • Lead the Year-end close and external audit for the US business
  • Lead the annual budget process for US business
  • Provide ad-hoc reporting and analysis as requested
  • Contribute to SAGE X3 / other system improvement discussions & projects

**Qualifications**

  • Qualified CPA (or equivalent)
  • At least 5 years' experience leading a busy finance team
  • Experience working in an international organization is essential
  • Hands-on knowledge of Sage X3 or a similar ERP system
  • Skilled in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, xlookups etc.) and Office 365
  • Experience with inventory accounting
  • Experience working with outsourced finance teams
