Responsibilities

• Supervise fund accounting and financial reporting for various real estate private equity investment funds.
• Oversee the creation of quarterly and annual financial statements in compliance with GAAP and fund agreements.
• Coordinate and review capital calls, distributions, and allocations to investors.
• Collaborate with external fund administrators, auditors, and tax advisors to ensure accurate compliance and reporting.
• Monitor and manage cash flow, fund expenditures, and overall financial performance.
• Ensure compliance with investor reporting standards, including preparing capital account statements and calculating management fees.
• Assist in structuring transactions and executing deals from an accounting and finance viewpoint.
• Contribute to the development and implementation of best practices for financial controls, policies, and procedures.
• Work alongside the investor relations team to facilitate fundraising initiatives and address investor inquiries.
• Stay informed on current accounting standards, tax regulations, and industry developments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline; CPA or CFA designation is preferred.
• 7+ years of experience in fund accounting, financial reporting, or a comparable role in real estate private equity, private equity, or real estate investment management.
• In-depth knowledge of GAAP, real estate fund structures, and partnership accounting.
• Experience collaborating with third-party fund administrators and external auditors.
• Familiarity with international blockers is a significant advantage.
• Exceptional analytical abilities with a strong focus on detail and accuracy.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective interaction with internal teams, investors, and service providers.
• Proficient in accounting software, financial modeling, and Excel.
• Able to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while managing multiple priorities.
