Description:
**Responsibilities**

  • Oversee daily accounting operations, monthly financial closings, and cash flow forecasting for all entities
  • Manage development accounting and finance, including pro-forma models
  • Assist CFO and President with special projects
  • Review journal entries, bank and loan reconciliations, and monthly accruals
  • Perform quarterly overhead allocations for all entities
  • Review monthly financial statements and forward to CFO for approval
  • Update and coordinate Monthly Accounting Check List
  • Finalize monthly financial statements and close accounting period in the system
  • Manage intercompany cash balances and update cash forecast
  • Review annual tax assessments and property tax reserve amounts
  • Review annual hotel budgets and attend budget meetings
  • Prepare financial reports for lenders, investors, and others
  • Manage tax return process and projections with tax consultant
  • Review capital expenditure requests and property tax reviews
  • Oversee annual financial audits for hotels
  • Initiate government filings and assist with special projects

**Qualifications**

  • BA/BS in Accounting
  • Minimum 3 years of work experience
  • Knowledge of accounting and finance
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Punctual, reliable, and excellent time management skills
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks concurrently and prioritize workflow
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Ability to work within timelines and problem solve
  • Effective oral and written communication with various stakeholders
  • Maintain a professional and positive attitude
