Description:
**Responsibilities**

  • Work collaboratively across departments to analyze inventory levels and their impact on financial performance, driving process improvement and report accuracy.
  • Troubleshoot Oracle system issues related to inventory, costing, and month-end close in coordination with IT.
  • Assist in determining inventory reserves for excess and obsolete products.
  • Coordinate month-end close with departments affecting inventory and cost of goods sold (COGs).
  • Become an expert in all areas impacting inventory on financial reports.
  • Analyze inventory levels and COGs margins for fluctuations.
  • Manage all inventory levels and COGs related audit requests.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement, challenge current processes, and drive change and efficiency.
  • Evaluate US GAAP Accounting principles when making business decisions.
  • Perform other accounting duties and ad-hoc projects as required.

**Qualifications**

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics from an accredited university.
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience with physical inventory, demonstrating knowledge of accounting principles and best practices; industry or CPG experience preferred.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to work under pressure and manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, adapting quickly to change.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, with the ability to manipulate data effectively and derive insights.
  • Experience writing macros and familiarity with Oracle Fusion is a plus.
  • Positive attitude that fosters teamwork and strong relationships.
