Description:
**Responsibilities**

• Manage all accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and month-end close processes.
• Lead and guide a small accounting team to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
• Develop and implement effective accounting processes and systems to support company growth and efficiency.
• Analyze production costs, such as materials, labor, and overhead, to ensure accuracy and identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Keep accurate records of inventory costs and assist with inventory counts, reconciliations, and reporting.
• Prepare and analyze cost reports, including standard cost variance analysis, to provide insights for decision-making.
• Assist in budget preparation, including standard cost updates and variance analysis.
• Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal policies for all accounting activities and assist with audits as necessary.
• Collaborate with production, procurement, and finance teams to align financial goals with operational objectives.

**Qualifications**

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 5+ years of accounting experience, with a focus on cost accounting in a manufacturing or food production setting.
• Proficient in ERP systems and advanced Excel skills.
• Demonstrated ability to establish accounting processes and systems from the ground up.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective collaboration across departments.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities.
