Description:
**Responsibilities**
- Oversee processes to capture, maintain, and report accurate financial data. Ensure monthly/quarterly financial statements are prepared in compliance with GAAP and regulatory requirements, meeting deadlines and comparing results to prior periods.
- Effectively communicate actual results, create and adjust reporting to reflect business changes.
- Take ownership of the monthly close process and escalate issues as necessary.
- Manage GL system and Chart of Accounts maintenance. Evaluate, plan, and test GL migration to new systems.
- Analyze complex financial information and develop reports to provide accurate and timely financial recommendations for management decision-making.
- Manage key reconciliations and processes, assisting in developing and implementing financial controls, standards, and risk-mitigation.
- Oversee annual audit process.
- Provide training, supervision, and development for accounting staff.
- Analyze and lead adoption of new accounting pronouncements.
- Perform other assigned duties as needed.
**Qualifications**
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in accounting.
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
- CPA license is required.
