Description:

Responsibilities

  • Drive strategic financial planning by leading scenario analyses, adjusting for seasonality, and forecasting performance with a deviation of less than 5%.
  • Develop financial models from the ground up and maintain sophisticated templates, including cost-of-manufacturing analyses, capital structure simulations, debt service calculations, waterfall distributions, and IRR evaluations.
  • Prepare pro-forma financial statements, support GP/LP filings, and provide guidance on warrants, equity dilution, and investor relations strategies.
  • Guide and mentor finance managers and analysts, collaborate on the development of standard operating procedures, and enhance internal training initiatives.
  • Oversee financial planning and analysis (FP&A), budgeting, and forecasting processes.
  • Partner with the Controller and finance leadership to drive strategic projects.
  • Evaluate monthly performance and key variances, providing actionable insights for improvement.
  • Assist in the creation of board-level reports and financial models.
  • Work closely with an analyst to ensure accurate reporting and variance tracking.
  • Engage in cross-functional collaboration with operations, sales, and executive teams.
  • Monitor and assess performance metrics, product margins, and operational key performance indicators (KPIs).

Qualifications

  • Demonstrated experience in financial planning and analysis (FP&A), private equity (PE), investment banking (IB), or strategic finance roles.
  • Proven ability to construct financial models from scratch and analyze complex datasets effectively.
  • Background in private equity-backed or rapidly growing manufacturing or consumer packaged goods (CPG) sectors.
  • Strong knowledge of capital markets, debt instruments, and the mechanics of equity dilution.
  • Ability to thrive in a high-growth, resource-constrained environment while working cross-functionally.
  • Comfortable taking ownership of complex tasks and working autonomously.
