Description:
**Responsibilities**

  • Prepare legal documents for real estate transactions, such as purchase agreements, leases, subleases, and closing documents.
  • Review and analyze title documents, title insurance policies, and tax bills.
  • Assist in property sales closing process by preparing checklists and attending closings.
  • Update clients on property leases, purchases, or sales and address their questions about real estate codes.
  • Conduct legal research and ensure compliance with real estate laws and regulations.
  • Direct activities for loss prevention, risk management, safety/security, maintenance, and marketing of properties.
  • Oversee lease negotiations, contract redlining, and ensure legal and financial compliance.
  • Ensure property management obligations are met and exceeded for all assigned properties.
  • Develop annual inspection process for properties and assets.
  • Administer budgets, operational reviews, and corrective action analysis.
  • Lead contract negotiations for property leases and improvements.
  • Participate in budget development and financial statement analysis.
  • Administer lease clauses, vacancy reports, and client compliance.
  • Manage improvements on properties and maintain accurate records.
  • Coordinate with accounting team for revenue collection and documentation.
  • Implement preventive maintenance programs for facilities.
  • Manage client relations and collaborate with other departments.
  • Participate in weekly development meetings and report on projects and properties.
  • Demonstrate a positive and professional attitude with coworkers, clients, and the public.
  • Manage administration of aviation assets.
  • Perform other duties as directed by company executives.

**Qualifications**

  • Associate’s degree in paralegal studies required.
  • Paralegal certification from an accredited program preferred.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Legal Studies, Paralegal Studies, Real Estate, or related field preferred.
  • Experience in contracts and legal matters.
  • 5+ years of experience in commercial property management/real estate.
  • 3+ years of experience in retail, hospitality, or customer-facing industries.
  • 3 years of experience in leasing processes analysis.
  • Proven track record in managing large property portfolios.
  • Knowledge of building systems, maintenance protocols, and regulatory requirements.
  • Effective budget development and management skills.
  • Leadership experience with strong results-driven abilities.
  • 3+ years of multi-state and nationwide property management experience desired.
  • Strong legal terminology and real estate verbiage understanding.
  • Expertise in lease negotiation, contract redlining, and legal compliance.
  • High attention to detail in legal document preparation.
  • Proficiency in identifying suppliers, securing bids, and negotiating prices.
  • Exceptional organizational, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Computer-proficient in Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent hospitality and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and handle crisis situations.
  • Effective communication and listening skills.
  • Ability to follow instructions and implement policies and procedures.
