Responsibilities

• Oversee financial planning, analysis, forecasting, and budgeting processes.
• Collaborate with the Controller and finance leadership on strategic projects.
• Evaluate monthly performance and key variances, providing actionable insights.
• Assist in the creation of board-level reports and financial models.
• Work alongside an analyst to manage reporting and variance analysis.
• Contribute to the development of standard operating procedures and documentation for financial workflows and planning cycles.
• Ensure adherence to GAAP standards and maintain internal financial controls.
• Engage in cross-functional collaboration with operations, sales, and executive teams.
• Track and analyze performance metrics, product margins, and operational KPIs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; advanced degree or certification preferred.
• Proven experience in financial planning and analysis, budgeting, and forecasting.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data effectively.
• Experience in preparing reports for senior management and stakeholders.
• Familiarity with financial software and systems, such as QuickBooks Online.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for cross-departmental collaboration.
• Detail-oriented with a strong understanding of GAAP and financial compliance.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
