Description:

Responsibilities

  • Facilitates the annual budgeting process for capital and operational expenditures, ensuring the accuracy of budget data.
  • Conducts monthly variance analysis comparing actual performance against budgeted figures.
  • Delivers detailed analyses on trends in Return on Equity and Rate of Return for both actual results and budgeted projections.
  • Updates and adjusts the company’s financial forecasting model as necessary.
  • Assists the Manager in evaluating potential acquisitions and new business ventures.
  • Prepares, maintains, analyzes, and disseminates financial reports and key performance metrics.
  • Supports the Manager with data collection for regulatory filings and manages data requests for quarterly audits.
  • Maintains and updates Sarbanes-Oxley documentation to ensure compliance with controls; collaborates with internal and external auditors as needed.
  • Performs additional tasks as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Economics, Finance, Accounting, or a related field, or seven years of progressively responsible experience in financial analysis.
  • A minimum of four years of relevant experience in an Accounting or Finance role.
  • Proficient in reading and analyzing financial statements, with the ability to present findings and address inquiries from internal and external auditors.
  • Advanced computer skills are required.
  • Effective communication skills to build collaborative relationships with various departments and personnel.
  • Prior experience with JD Edwards and Adaptive Insights is highly desirable.
