Privately held real estate investment management firm in the Orange County area is looking for a Fund Accounting Manager to help manage the accounting for several real estate investment funds.
Review, prepare and coordinate consolidated quarterly reports and financial statements.
Responsible for accounting for transactions such as acquisitions, dispositions, joint ventures and loan closings, including validating settlement statement, providing funding, and booking transactions.
Manage Fund Accounting Staff.
Responsible for cash management and initiation of wire transfers.
Responsible for investor requests for information and inquiries, including preparation of account statements, debt and asset information, and audit confirmations.
Assist with calculating capital calls and distributions to and from investors
Review of consolidated cash flow models.
Assist with preparation of annual investor conference materials.
Prepare quarterly and annual tax projection calculations and assist with REIT compliance.
Prepare debt compliance calculations and manage all necessary loan reporting requirements to lenders.
Review quarterly property level books.
Assist with the compliance of Partnership agreements.
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting required.
Big 4 public accounting experience strongly preferred.
Must have 4 – 5 years’ experience in Accounting.
Knowledge of MS Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
CPA license strongly preferred
Must be able to work independently and also within a team department.
