Our Client, a top Real Estate Private Equity Fund Manager located in the Brentwood section of Los Angeles, is looking for a Fund Treasury and Operations Manager to focus on all aspects of fund operations for a series of Private Equity Real Estate Funds with an AUM of $1B.

Responsibilities:

  • Capital Planning: review fund level cash forecasts, borrowing notices, and distribution notices

  • Ensure compliance with stated covenants for fund-level credit facilities.

  • Work closely with Chief Financial Officer, Asset Management, and Investor Relations teams to prepare and review both

    requests from senior management as well as external investor requests.

  • Review wire transfers, associated journal entries, and follow up on transaction status

  • Assist with the allocations across funds for expense payments and investment fundings/distributions

  • Assist with the review of capital calls, distributions, and management fee calculations and related wires/notices.

  • Coordinate payment and tracking of intercompany transactions

  • Reconcile Fund, middle tier, JV and co. investment and bank accounts

  • Maintain historical and forecasted cash tracking schedules

  • Coordinate fund reimbursement of expenses with JV partners

  • Involvement in fund/deal setup

  • Manage capital calls and distributions across funds

  • Work with Chief Financial Officer on budget and forecast for funds

  • Manage quarterly management fee and development fee calculations for funds and co – Investment Funds.

  • Liaise with external consultants on various outsourced tasks and special projects

  • Review/prepare daily cash account analyses and reconciliations

  • Work with Chief Financial Officer on fund performance models and record transactions as needed

  • Generate routine and ad-hoc financial schedules for management

  • Maintain investment reporting tracker (i.e. Audit reports and etc.)
  • Maintain investment tax reporting tracker (i.e. k-1 and tax estimates)

Qualifications:

  • 3 to 7 years of relevant experience

  • Finance or Accounting majors preferred

  • Prior Fund or Fund Administration operations experience, a MUST

  • Strong finance business acumen and go-getter attitude

  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work well across teams

  • Must have a strong working knowledge of Excel

  • Experience with modeling and Yardi, pluses

  • Ability to network across groups (Finance, Business, Tax, Legal)

  • Self-starter who is detail oriented and very organized
