Overview: Pacific Executive Search has been engaged on a search for a Global Settlements Specialist. As a Global Settlements Specialist, you will take on new responsibilities by completing daily settlements tasks and ensuring accurate and timely settlement of foreign securities. Responsibilities:

• Perform daily settlements tasks, including monitoring, settling, updating, and maintaining time-sensitive information related to trade life cycle events.
• Confirm trade terms and ensure accurate and timely settlement of foreign securities.
• Affirm and release currency trades in trade management systems.
• Calculate gains/losses on currency forward rolls and confirm pair-off amounts with FX brokers.
• Manage security and cash delivery instructions in databases.
• Identify and report settlement issues and determine if manager escalation is necessary.
• Communicate with traders, portfolio architects, and other teams internally to resolve settlement inquiries and trade discrepancies.
• Externally communicate with custodian banks and broker-dealers.
• Validate and resolve outstanding claims from custodians and brokers in a timely manner.

Qualifications:

• Hold a Bachelor’s degree, preferably in finance.
• Have experience in finance or asset management (preferred).
• Possess strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Demonstrate effective organizational and analytical skills.
