Description:
**Responsibilities**

  • Manage the books and records for various private partnerships and accounts, and provide reports to clients and the portfolio group.
  • Coordinate with independent auditors, custodians, prime brokers, and fund administrators.
  • Analyze and calculate performance metrics for partnerships/accounts and investments.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for clients.
  • Determine and prepare distributions and draw-downs.
  • Calculate income and expense allocations to each partner, updating distribution waterfall based on governing documents.
  • Estimate and post monthly closing accruals.
  • Account for complex corporate actions.
  • Record and reconcile purchase and sale transactions.
  • Account for and reconcile cash, investments, and real property.
  • Maintain books and records of pooled private investment funds organized as limited partnerships and/or separate accounts.

**Qualifications**

  • Experience with SQL and Power BI is a plus.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to solve complex problems.
  • Excellent understanding of accounting and relevant investment company accounting rules.
  • Knowledgeable in reconciliation and account analysis.
  • Minimum 5-7 years of relevant accounting or audit experience within Big Four public accounting or a mix of public accounting and investment management industry experience.
