Pacific Executive Search is hiring for a Financial Reporting Management position for a very well run Software as a Service company. The role is hybrid with excellent benefits and the company is stable, profitable and growing. They are looking for someone with a technical accounting background to help them build best practices and help take the team to the next level.

Responsibilities:

• Facilitate effective planning and coordination of annual audits while maintaining a strong relationship with independent auditors.
• Manage and resolve various accounting and auditing issues, including the implementation of new accounting standards and complex technical matters.
• Support the alignment of accounting policies during acquisitions and ensure accurate reporting.
• Provide insightful advice to executive management and FP&A personnel regarding financial implications of business activities.
• Stay updated with accounting standards and regulations, preparing clear and concise memos and implementing necessary changes for compliance.
• Generate precise financial reports on a regular basis, adhering to GAAP guidelines.
• Contribute to global accounting policies, technical guidance, and financial reporting practices.

Qualifications:

• Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting with 12+ years of experience in public accounting, or a Master’s in Accounting with 8+ years of equivalent experience.
• Possess an active CPA license.
• Demonstrate a strong command of US GAAP and the ability to apply technical accounting and financial reporting standards.
• Exhibit a detail-oriented and hands-on approach, exceptional organizational skills, and the ability to manage priorities and meet deadlines.
• Proficiently research and communicate technical accounting matters to diverse audiences.
• Showcase strong analytical and critical thinking skills in assessing financial results.
• Display excellent communication skills and collaborative capabilities within a diverse team.
• Familiarity with SEC reporting practices.
• Understanding of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
• Prior experience in the enterprise software or technology industry.
• Experience using financial reporting software to streamline processes.
