Responsibilities

  • Evaluate and analyze financial statements of target companies to determine the validity of earnings/EBITDA, cash flows, financial position, and overall financial health.
  • Oversee daily communications and build strong relationships with both junior and senior team members, acquisition targets, and clients, actively participating in team discussions.
  • Utilize Excel extensively to develop intricate and sophisticated financial deliverables.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, demonstrating effective multitasking and a willingness to tackle new challenges; strong time management and organizational skills are essential.
  • Effectively synthesize data to narrate the story behind the numbers.
  • Create PowerPoint presentations to communicate findings to clients.
  • Supervise Senior Associates by providing guidance on tasks, prioritizing workloads, reviewing outputs, and offering mentorship and training.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or economics.
  • Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in financial consulting or Financial Due Diligence, preferably with a Big 4 firm.
  • Possession of a CPA (inactive status is acceptable), with additional qualifications such as CFA or other advanced degrees being advantageous. Experience in middle-market or larger M&A transactions involving private equity firms is essential for this role.
  • Strong foundation in financial and quantitative analysis.
  • Excellent strategic, analytical, interpersonal, organizational, and communication abilities.
  • Dynamic and highly motivated individual who excels as a team player, fosters relationships easily, and can work independently.
  • Thrives in a fast-paced, rapidly evolving, and customer-focused environment.
  • Delivers accurate and timely outputs.
  • Comprehensive understanding of all financial statements and the underlying accounting principles.
  • Proficient in the Microsoft Office suite, particularly PowerPoint and Excel (advanced functions are required). Familiarity with Power BI or Alteryx will also influence the selection process.
