Business Management company in Century City looking for an Operations Associate to join their Wealth Management team. This is an excellent opportunity to join a modern and fast-growing investment firm that provides proprietary alternative investments across multiple asset classes including Private Equity, Venture Capital, Real Estate, Private Debt, and traditional equity and fixed-income portfolios, as well as financial services including wealth management, business management, tax, and insurance services. The Operations Associate will be a key member of the team and will be integrally involved in multiple aspects of the Wealth Management business by providing operational support to the Director of Operations, including the application of Orion wealth management software for both traditional and alternative investments.

Responsibilities:

  • Liaison between various departments including PE, VC, RE, Business Management, and Financial Advisors amongst others

  • Work closely with the Director of Operations on new and existing projects

  • Maintain and update select Salesforce databases and workflows

  • Support our team of Client Associates

  • Manage our wealth management client portfolio database through Orion

  • Troubleshoot issues with custodian systems and client accounts

  • Review alternative investment subscription documents to ensure accurate completion

  • Reports to the Director of Operations

Qualifications:

  • 1-2 years experience in financial services operations

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited 4-year institution

  • Exceptionally detail-oriented and well-organized with a high level of analytical thinking and problem-solving skills

  • Ability to work independently and take direction from the Director of Operations and the Executive Team

  • Effectively and efficiently perform multiple, time-sensitive tasks

  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (particularly Word and Excel)

  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States

  • Successful completion of background checks and pre-employment assessments

  • Ability to complete the essential functions of the job with or without reasonable accommodation

  • Preferences: Experience with Orion wealth management software and experience with Salesforce
