Family investment office in West LA is looking for a Reporting Analyst that is highly motivated professional to join a growing team to focus on investment portfolio reporting and analysis.
Responsibilities:
  • Prepare analyses of investment portfolio performance and generate investment return reports (weekly, monthly, quarterly, annual)
  • Record, track, and update investment data in third party software platform including valuations, capital calls and distributions, unfunded commitments, and investment terms
  • Assist with conversion of software reporting system to a new platform and help ensure data integrity and smooth transition
  • Prepare long-term cash flow forecasts and cash management plans by projecting portfolio distributions and capital calls
  • Prepare tax estimates based on best available data, including input from fund managers and classification of income and distributions received
  • Support investment operations, including preparing subscription documents, providing supporting documents, and responding to fund manager information requests
  • Maintain close relationships and regular communication with third-party fund managers
Qualifications:
  • 2+ years of professional experience, with some experience/understanding of private equity and hedge funds preferred
  • Strong analytical and computer skills, including Excel/financial modeling and general IT proficiency (e.g., PowerPoint, Word, Adobe and other software tools)
  • Maturity with strong interpersonal and verbal/written communication skills
  • High integrity, trustworthy, loyal – expected to stay long term, not a short-term role
  • Attention to detail, organized and efficient, able to multi-multitask
  • Self-starter who works well in a team, but also exhibits strong initiative
