They are currently looking to hire a Senior Accountant for their LA office.
Responsibilities:
Prepare financial statements for corporate and real estate entities, including monthly financial close and account balance reconciliation.
Prepare reports for owners and Senior Management.
Prepare and review annual budgets.
Record debt service monthly payments and ensure all payments are made timely.
Record and amortize all accrued and prepaid expense.
Prepare and book journal entries.
Oversee job cost accounts payable for properties and prepare monthly job cost report.
Reconcile bank accounts.
Prepare information required for quarterly lender reports.
Prepare monthly capital call for owners.
Prepare year-end audit and tax schedules for outside accountants.
Prepare weekly cash forecast report and determine appropriate transfer of funds.
Work closely with outside property management companies to ensure timely and accurate flow of financial information.
Reconcile Fixed Asset schedules to General Ledger.
Review general ledger detail for coding discrepancies and comparison to budget.
Oversee reconciliation of intercompany billings and receipts.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects.
Review Accounts Payable coding
Ad-hoc projects as needed.
