Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage daily accounting operations, ensuring accuracy and compliance with established standards.
• Prepare and analyze financial statements, reports, and forecasts to support strategic decision-making.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline financial processes and enhance operational efficiency.
• Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial plans, monitoring performance against targets.
• Ensure timely and accurate completion of month-end and year-end closing procedures.
• Maintain and improve accounting systems and processes, including the implementation of new software solutions.
• Supervise and mentor junior accounting staff, fostering professional development and growth.
• Support audits by providing necessary documentation and addressing inquiries from external auditors.
• Stay updated on industry regulations and best practices to ensure compliance and mitigate risks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or equivalent certification is preferred.
• Proven experience in accounting roles, preferably within the consumer packaged goods (CPG) or e-commerce sectors.
• Strong proficiency in accounting software, with hands-on experience using NetSuite.
• Excellent analytical skills with a keen attention to detail and accuracy.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of collaborating effectively with diverse teams.
• Experience in financial reporting and compliance with relevant accounting standards.
• Leadership experience with a track record of mentoring and developing team members.
