A leading restaurant franchising company with 17 brands under its umbrella is seeking a dynamic Senior Accountant to join its team. This publicly traded company has exploded in growth over the last 2 years and is scaling its team accordingly. Reporting under the Corporate Controller this role will focus on GL accounting and is great for someone coming straight out of public accounting or a high-revenue company. Responsibilities:

• Preparing and recording journal entries
• Collaboration, open communication and flexibility to help drive process improvements
• Assessing established processes; recommending and implementing process improvements
• Preparing and presenting quarterly reporting and other ad hoc requests to the Corporate Controller
• Identifying and implementing solutions in a complex environment

Qualifications:

• Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in accounting required
• Minimum of two years of accounting, finance or related business experience required
• Public accounting experience strongly preferred
• CPA, CMA or MBA strongly preferred
• Strong analytical skills
• Strong Microsoft Excel skill set, ability to learn new systems and understand workflows
• Ability to thrive in a dynamic environment with tight timelines and multiple deliverables
• Takes personal responsibility for decisions and delivering results
