Description:
**Responsibilities**
- Prepare and input journal entries and reconciliations, ensuring financial report accuracy
- Conduct monthly account reconciliations and analyze balance sheet accounts, documenting flux analysis
- Create and document policies and procedures
- Lead process improvement initiatives collaboratively
- Engage with internal and external auditors
- Develop a deep understanding of company operations to provide accurate financial statements
- Participate in various accounting projects and meetings
- Collaborate with Accounts Payable to ensure proper expense coding
- Assist in fixed asset account review and compliance
- Perform ad-hoc accounting and finance projects
- Implement accounting policies and procedures
- Recommend enhancements to policies and procedures for efficiency
- Adhere to GAAP for financial statements
- Analyze and interpret financial data
- Prepare budgets and financial reports for review
- Support accounting operations with automation and process improvement
- Work with cross-functional partners to achieve company goals
- Participate in SOX compliance control testing
- Conduct variance analysis for accurate financial reporting
- Identify and implement process improvements for accounting efficiency
- Respond to financial inquiries by analyzing and summarizing data
- Perform other assigned duties
**Qualifications**
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field
- Strong knowledge of GAAP
- 4+ years of professional experience in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent quantitative and analytical skills with attention to detail
- Effective business and financial discernment
