As a Senior Accounting Analyst, you will be responsible for preparing accurate financial reports, developing and documenting policies, and leading process improvement initiatives. Description:
**Responsibilities**
- Prepare and input journal entries and reconciliations to ensure financial report accuracy
- Conduct monthly account reconciliations and analyze balance sheet accounts, documenting flux analysis
- Create and document policies and procedures
- Lead process improvement initiatives collaboratively
- Engage with internal and external auditors
- Develop a deep understanding of company operations to provide accurate financial statements
- Participate in projects and meetings as assigned
- Collaborate with accounts payable to ensure proper expense coding
- Review fixed asset accounts for compliance with capitalization policy
- Assist with special projects in accounting and finance
- Implement accounting policies and procedures for best practices
- Follow GAAP for financial statements
- Analyze and research financial data
- Prepare budgets and provide analytical commentary
- Support accounting and operations with automation and process improvement
- Work with cross-functional partners and third parties on company initiatives
- Participate in SOX compliance control testing
- Conduct variance analysis for monthly financial reporting
- Identify and implement process improvement opportunities
- Respond to financial inquiries and analyze data
- Perform other assigned duties
**Qualifications**
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field
- Strong knowledge of GAAP
- 4+ years of experience in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent quantitative and analytical skills with attention to detail
- Effective business and financial discernment
- Strong work ethic and accountability
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple priorities accurately
