Overview: Pacific Executive Search has been engaged on a search for a Senior Accounting Analyst in West LA for a Healthcare company's Digital Health segment. As a Senior Accounting Analyst, you would be responsible for preparing accurate financial reports, developing policies and procedures, and collaborating with internal and external auditors. Description:
**Responsibilities**

  • Prepare and input journal entries and reconciliations, making necessary corrections for accurate financial reports
  • Conduct monthly account reconciliations and analyze various balance sheet accounts, documenting flux analysis
  • Create and document policies and procedures
  • Lead process improvement initiatives collaboratively
  • Engage with internal and external auditors
  • Develop a deep understanding of company operations to provide accurate financial statements
  • Participate in various projects and meetings as assigned
  • Collaborate with accounts payable to ensure proper expense coding and reconciliation
  • Assist in reviewing fixed asset accounts for compliance with capitalization policy
  • Perform ad-hoc projects in accounting and finance as needed
  • Implement accounting policies and procedures to enhance best practices
  • Follow Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) for financial statements
  • Analyze and interpret financial data for reporting and decision-making
  • Prepare and present budgets and analytical commentary for review
  • Support automation and process improvement in accounting and operations
  • Work with cross-functional partners to support company initiatives
  • Participate in SOX compliance control testing
  • Conduct variance analysis for accurate financial reporting
  • Identify and implement process improvement opportunities
  • Respond to financial inquiries by analyzing and interpreting data
  • Perform other assigned duties

**Qualifications**

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field
  • Strong knowledge of General Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
  • 4+ years of professional experience in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent quantitative, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Effective business and financial discernment
  • Strong work ethic and accountability
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple priorities accurately
  • Strong organization skills and initiative
