Description:
**Responsibilities**

  • Prepare and input journal entries and reconciliations, making necessary corrections for accurate financial reports
  • Conduct monthly account reconciliations and analyze various balance sheet accounts, documenting flux analysis
  • Develop and document accounting policies and procedures
  • Collaborate on process improvement initiatives
  • Engage with internal and external auditors
  • Assist in understanding company operations for accurate financial statements
  • Lead or participate in various accounting projects and meetings as assigned
  • Work with accounts payable to ensure proper expense coding and reconciliation
  • Review fixed asset accounts for compliance with capitalization policy
  • Assist in special accounting projects as needed
  • Implement and recommend accounting policies and procedures
  • Follow Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
  • Analyze and research financial data
  • Prepare and present budgets and financial statements for review
  • Support accounting and operations with process automation and improvement
  • Collaborate with business partners and third parties on projects
  • Participate in SOX compliance control testing
  • Conduct variance analysis for monthly financial close processes
  • Prepare detailed financial reporting summaries for operations
  • Analyze and recommend process improvements for efficiency and effectiveness
  • Respond to financial inquiries by analyzing and interpreting data
  • Perform other assigned duties

**Qualifications**

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field
  • Strong knowledge of General Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
  • 4+ years of professional experience in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong quantitative and analytical skills with attention to detail
  • Effective business and financial discernment
  • Strong work ethic and accountability
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple priorities accurately
  • Strong organization skills and initiative
  • Curiosity to ask the right questions
  • Ability to analyze high volumes of transactions/data
