Description:
**Responsibilities**

  • Prepare and document journal entries and reconciliations to ensure financial report accuracy
  • Conduct monthly account reconciliations and analyze balance sheet accounts, documenting flux analysis
  • Create and implement policies and procedures
  • Lead process improvement initiatives collaboratively
  • Engage with internal and external auditors
  • Develop a deep understanding of company operations to provide accurate financial statements
  • Participate in projects and meetings as assigned
  • Collaborate with AP to ensure proper expense coding
  • Review fixed asset accounts for compliance
  • Assist with special projects in accounting and finance
  • Recommend enhancements to policies and procedures
  • Follow GAAP for financial statements
  • Analyze and interpret financial data
  • Prepare budgets and provide analytical commentary
  • Support accounting and operations with process automation
  • Work with cross-functional partners and third parties
  • Participate in SOX compliance control testing
  • Conduct variance analysis for monthly close processes
  • Prepare detailed financial reports for operations
  • Recommend and implement process improvements
  • Respond to financial inquiries and gather data for analysis
  • Perform other assigned duties

**Qualifications**

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP
  • 4+ years of experience in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent quantitative and analytical skills with attention to detail
  • Effective business and financial discernment
  • Strong work ethic and accountability
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple priorities
  • Strong organizational skills and initiative
  • Curiosity to ask the right questions
  • Ability to analyze high volumes of data
