Description:
**Responsibilities**

  • Prepare and input journal entries and reconciliations to ensure financial report accuracy
  • Conduct monthly account reconciliations and analyze balance sheet accounts, documenting flux analysis
  • Develop and document accounting policies and procedures
  • Lead process improvement initiatives collaboratively
  • Engage with internal and external auditors
  • Provide accurate operational financial statements by partnering with operations colleagues
  • Participate in various accounting projects and meetings as assigned
  • Collaborate with accounts payable to ensure proper expense coding
  • Assist in reviewing fixed asset accounts for compliance
  • Perform ad-hoc accounting projects as necessary
  • Implement accounting policies to enhance efficiency
  • Follow GAAP for financial statements
  • Analyze and interpret financial data for reporting
  • Prepare budgets and financial reports for review
  • Support accounting operations and automation efforts
  • Participate in SOX compliance testing
  • Conduct variance analysis for monthly close processes
  • Identify and implement process improvements
  • Respond to financial inquiries and gather data for analysis
  • Perform other assigned duties

**Qualifications**

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP
  • 4+ years of experience in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Effective business and financial discernment
  • High level of accountability and work ethic
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
  • Strong organizational skills and initiative
  • Curiosity and ability to analyze high volumes of data
  • Experience working independently and as part of a team
  • Proficiency in Excel
