Description:
**Responsibilities**
- Lead technical accounting research, prepare and review technical accounting memos, and communicate conclusions to internal stakeholders and external auditors.
- Act as a liaison between external experts, audit team, and internal business leaders for significant business transactions.
- Oversee the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with U.S. GAAP.
- Develop and maintain effective internal controls and assess financial risks.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive business process transformation and identify system enhancements.
**Qualifications**
- Minimum of 7 years of relevant accounting experience, including 5 years at a Big 4 public accounting firm.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA certification required.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting requirements.
- At least 4 years in a people management role.
- Experience with a major accounting ERP system and financial reporting software.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Advanced Excel skills.
- Experience in consumer goods, retail, or eCommerce industry is a plus.
- Passion for food and cooking.
