Our client a leading global consumer products company in San Gabriel Valley with excellent work life balance and super modern fun office space is looking for a dynamic Senior Accountant. Looking for 3-5 years of experience with CPG/Manufacturing experience preferred.
Responsibilities:
- Key member of the Accounting team contributing to a timely and accurate month-end close process
- Prepares journal entries and other analytical data in support of month-end close
- Perform various month-end closing activities within the established timeframes for the closing process
- Reconciling sub-ledger to general ledger account balances
- Performing monthly balance sheet, income statement and changes in financial position/budget variance analysis
- Assist with collecting and analyzing data about a company’s operational costs
- Assist with setting standard costs
- Provide support to Finance management and other internal departments as needed, including special projects
- Assist with all areas of international accounting and foreign currency matters
- Preparation of and work with external tax accountants on the supporting transfer pricing documentation for worldwide operations
- Gather documentation and prepare responses to information requests from external auditors
- Other duties may be assigned
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or equivalent
- Minimum 5-7 years prior accounting experience (demonstrating progressive responsibility)
- CPA strongly preferred
- Excellent communication, organizational, planning, and analytical skills required
- Attention to detail and accuracy in work is required
- Knowledge of GAAP and international letter of credits is required
- Experience with Oracle software highly preferred
